A gondola station was very close to our hotel. There was a great dining option, Sunnys Bar only 1000 feet from the property...

It's a huge number. Beautiful hotel. Not too far from the lift. Responsive staff.
It's a long way from the lift, 10 minutes to go... The room is very cold, couldn't do anything, didn't show more than 23... The pool is cold, although they said 29, but I couldn't believe it. Sauna for a fee, Jacuzzi wasn't working... Breakfast is quite modest, without much choice... The room wasn't clean, the floors were just sweeping for 5 days... Towels and shampoo were given for 2 sets for 4 people.

The rooms are very big and our apartment was very good with 2 separate bedrooms. The breakfast was good enough.
At the dinner we did not have drinks (not even water) and we had to pay for it. It is our first 4 stars hotel where we did not have bath robe and hair drier in bathroom. Due to the fact that the rooms are so big when the temperature outside is very low the heaters are not good enough but I can not say that it was so cold in the rooms. Not very far from the ski tracks but I can say that every day is not so comfortable to walk with our equipment in our hands for about 10 min.

The faclities ie.pool, sauna and disco were brilliant. Hotel was very immaculate indeed
The bularian staff are very rude and i you ask them a genuine question they will not help and just say "i dont know" shrug their shoulders and look the other way. Very disrepectful aswell. They were continuously laughing at the way we talk and even refferesd to us asians as gysies because of our skin colour. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone unless they know how to be rude back.

The breakfast was hearty and satisfying. the apartment was spacious with a well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. Each room had a balcony, offering refreshing views. It was conveniently located near the Gondola and lifts, making access to the slopes easy. the rooms were cleaned daily and the overall cleanliness was good.
Felt at home instantly, nothing to complain about.

Our room was roomy, comfortable and spacious. It was cleaned daily. The hotel is smart and attractive and well positioned just outside the main town.
The staff were not particularly helpful. There was very little communication about what was going on at the hotel e.g. new year's eve dinner, late breakfast times. When we signed out, we were charged for a meal that we hadn't had (we were in ski classes at the claimed time.) Someone had given our room number and signed the bill. We had to wait 30 minutes for the manager to appear who was very rude and abrupt with the receptionist. This is a system that needs looking at. The disco at the weekend went on very late and even though on 4th floor the sound travels throughout the building. The pool was cold and the charge to use the sauna (10 levs) was excessive.

The Hotel is not far from the center, altough I would recommend Rila best during Summer. For Winter it's perfect. The room was very spacious, like an appartment. The breakfast was very good too. In the summer it's quite, as not fully booked.
In the SPA, only the pool was free, they wanted to charge for the Sauna, and it was not ON. Parking is paid too. The TV set is old, not LCD. Walls are cardboard-like, so could get bit noisy, if hotel is fully booked. The price was a bit more higher than others similar, and i think the difference was not compensated by better value.

Cleanliness of the room and attitude and kindness of two girls serving in lobby bar.
Lack of regular shuttle to the ski start area, due to the fact that the location is far from ski area. The hotel is actually far away from the ski start area and it took us more than 20 min climbing up to get there with all necessary ski & board equipment for ourselves and the kids.
